What inspired you to join AMP, and what do you enjoy most about your role?
I joined AMP because it offered a niche opportunity in an industry with long-term potential and constant evolution. Insurance rewards people who are curious, analytical, and willing to keep learning. What I enjoy most is the variation, as no two days are the same. And working in a collaborative environment where problem-solving and knowledge sharing are genuinely valued.
What unique skills or strengths do you bring to our team?
I bring a naturally analytical, curious mindset and a strong technical skill set. I’m comfortable working with complex IT systems, devices, and software, and I enjoy understanding how things work at a deeper level. This allows me to solve problems efficiently and support both colleagues and clients with confidence.
How do you stay updated with industry trends or developments in your field?
I actively keep up to date through industry news, blog posts, and market updates. I also follow relevant businesses and professionals on LinkedIn to stay connected to emerging trends, regulatory changes, and practical insights from across the sector.
What do you enjoy doing in your free time, and how does it influence your work?
Outside of work, I manage a 100m x 15m countryside allotment, where I’m gradually transforming the land to grow a mix of crops, fruit, and flowers. It’s physical, hands-on work that pulls me away from technology and creates space to reset. That balance helps me return to work focused, clear-headed, and ready for the week ahead.
