Risk Management is top of the list of concerns for practicing dentists in today’s marketplace. As specialists, we have conversations with healthcare professionals every day who are concerned with negligence claims, issues with the GDC as well as meeting CQC requirements. This is why we developed our first, but will be one of many, CPD verifiable workshop.
Event Summary
Held on: 30 June 2018
Location: London
Itinerary: Welcome breakfast in Sky Garden with amazing views over the city, followed by the workshop in one of the offices of the Walkie Talkie
Aims: To help dentists reduce the risk of dental negligence claims, encountering issues with the GDC and reduce the risk of failing your CQC inspection.
Cost: Just £75
Our key speakers
This workshop was organised and facilitated by All Med Pro, with the content being delivered by three industry-leading experts in their respective fields:
- Tracy Sell-Peters of DWF LLP – specialist lawyers representing dentists in regulatory hearings for many years
- Dr Anthony Visocci – experienced dentist with a dento-legal background who is also on the advisory panel for NICE
- Dr Keith Hayes – experienced dentist with extensive knowledge and expertise in CQC – Keith helps many dentists meet their CQC obligations through his company Right Path 4.
Our workshop format
Rather than sit through Powerpoint presentations, the 48 dentists were split into groups of 12, with each key speaker plus the AMP team rotating between the tables.
This structure gave the opportunity for each delegate to participate in active discussions on more specialist topics and raise their own personal questions or concerns.
